These are the terms for using yongestreetdaily.com. By using the site you accept them. They cover what you can do with our content, what happens when you send us something, and the limits of what we promise.

Using the site
The site is free to read. Do not attempt to break it, scrape it wholesale, or use it in a way that interferes with anyone else using it. Automated access for search and answer engines is welcome within the limits set out in our robots.txt.
Our content
Articles, photographs, graphics and the design of this site belong to Yonge St Daily or are used with permission. You may quote a short extract with clear attribution and a link to the page it came from. You may not republish whole articles, reproduce our photographs, or present our work as your own.
What you send us
When you send a tip, an event listing, a photograph or a message, you confirm that it is yours to send and that the details are accurate to the best of your knowledge. You keep ownership of anything you send. By submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to publish it on the site and on our social accounts, with credit where you have asked for it.
Do not send us anything you do not have the rights to, including photographs taken by someone else. If you want something you sent removed, ask and we will remove it.
Accuracy
We check details before we publish and we correct errors when we find them, but hours, prices, menus and event times change constantly and often without notice. Confirm with the venue before you travel. We are not responsible for a wasted trip, a sold out event or a restaurant that closed the week after we wrote about it.
Links to other sites
We link to venues, organisers and ticket sellers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their terms or their privacy practices.
Paid partnerships and affiliate links
Some articles are paid partnerships and are labelled as such. Some links earn us a commission if you book or buy, at no extra cost to you, and are disclosed on the page. Our editorial standards explain how we keep that separate from what we recommend.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it or relying on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

We may update these terms. The current version always lives on this page with the date it was last changed.
