One email a week, on Thursday morning: where to eat, what is on and what is free in Toronto this weekend. It takes two minutes to read and saves you an hour of searching. Free, and easy to leave.
What is in it?
- The weekend list: three or four things actually worth doing, with prices and addresses
- What opened, and the occasional thing that closed
- One free thing, every week, without fail
- A neighbourhood worth a wander this weekend
What is not in it: filler, hype, or twelve links to things we have not checked.

The fine print
We email you because you asked us to, and for no other reason. Every send identifies us, includes a mailing address and carries a working unsubscribe link that we act on straight away. We do not sell or share the list. That is what Canada’s anti-spam law requires, and it is also just how a newsletter should work.
How we handle your email address is set out in the privacy policy.
Common questions
How often will you email me?
Once a week, on Thursday morning. Occasionally we will send one extra during a big weekend such as a festival or a long weekend, and never more than that.
Can I unsubscribe easily?
Yes. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom and it works immediately. No survey, no talking you out of it.
Is it different from the Instagram account?
Yes. Instagram is quick and visual and moves fast. The newsletter is the edited version: fewer things, more detail, and the practical information you need to actually go.
